DURACELL: ONE CHARGE CHALLENGE
LIVE STREAMING BRANDED CONTENT
- Twitch is Amazon’s live streaming platform, predominantly dedicated to gamers streaming video games while they play, it has a highly engaged audience of gaming fans who regularly tune in to watch various stints of live gameplay by their favourite influencers.
- The brief was to create a live, interactive format that resonated with the Twitch audience and promoted Duracell’s new rechargeable batteries. Duracell also have a commercial partnership in place with Xbox, and hence the format needed to spotlight the use of Duracell’s batteries being used to power Xbox wireless gaming controllers.
- A 5hr multicamera live broadcast, streamed via Twitch, and promoted via the eight influencers’ social channels. The client was delighted with the results as the broadcast received a total of 187k views from 150k unique viewers with 355k minutes watched and 4.8k chat interactions.
- The One Charge Challenge - a five hour live broadcast with eight UK Influencers, completing 25 challenges powered by one single charge of Duracell’s new batteries. The broadcast was streamed live via Twitch an promoted via the influencers’ Twitch channels to their audience.
